Dr. Asma Qayyum is a distinguished board-certified nephrologist and internal medicine specialist
with a passion for advancing kidney health. After completing her medical training in India, she
moved to the United States, where she honed her skills during an internal medicine residency at
Northwell Health in New York. Dr. Asma Qayyum further specialized in nephrology at the
University of
Maryland, where she was honored as the Best Teacher Fellow, recognizing her dedication to
education and mentorship.
Since entering practice in 2019, Dr. Asma Qayyum has focused on several key areas within
nephrology,
including glomerular diseases, onco-nephrology, ICU nephrology, and home dialysis. Her
