Dr. Cesar Bravo is a triple board-certified Internist, Intensivist, and Nephrologist from Peru. He graduated from Universidad Nacional de Trujillo in 1967 and completed his internship at Bon Secours Hospital in 1968. Dr. Bravo then trained in residency at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, serving as chief medical resident in 1972. He pursued two fellowships: one in Critical Care Medicine at UPMC in 1973 and another in nephrology at the University of Missouri in 1975.
After working as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri and the University of Texas Medical School, he began his own practice in 1979. Dr. Bravo has since practiced as an intensivist and nephrologist in the Memorial City and Spring Branch areas. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is passionate about medical literature and research. He also served as the medical director of DaVita Spring Branch Kidney Center from 2004 to 2023.
